Ben Porter, who has previously been mentioned and is currently working on a procedurally generated adventure game, has recently gotten his 10,000th follower on Twitter. As a present, he made a pet for each one of them.

They were well received. Some people have drawn fanart of their new pets, or put them into their games. I’m very fond of mine (pictured above).
