L-SystemBot 2.0

I’ve mentioned L-systems before. It is a useful technique for procgen because it provides a simple language to model complex but ordered output. Combined with real world referents (plants) and unexpected uses (such as generating cities) and they’re a useful tool for the procgen toolbox.

LSystemBot generates rules for simple L-Systems and posts the turtle graphics results to Twitter. The source code is posted on GitHub. Some of the results are a bit boring (as to be expected) but a handful are startlingly arresting.
